Lughnasadh

Saturday

July 26th

3:00~5:00 pm

Lughnasadh, also known as Lammas, is a Celtic festival on the Wheel of the Year that marks the midway point between Litha (Summer Solstice) and Mabon (Fall Equinox). Lughnasadh is traditionally known as the time of First Harvest, when we celebrate the bounty and blessing the earth has provided during the growing season. It is a time where we can reflect on all the provisions and blessings given to us, and share in the Earth's natural rhythm of gifting and offerings with each other. It is the first of three harvest festivals the Celts celebrate, however many cultures honor this time of year to give thanks for the abundance and sustenance the Earth provides.

Please join us as we celebrate this time of Lughnasadh together on the lands of Anam Cara Fields. There will be time to commune with the land we are blessed to tend, share in a bonfire, and to walk the labyrinth. We look forward to seeing you!
